Grass Type
Whether you are growing a warm season grass (Couch, Kikuyu) or a cool season grass Rye, Fescue (tall or fine) or Brown Top TSL can design a detailed maintenance programme for you.
Fertilisers
Fertiliser is food for the plant and must be applied in the right quantities at the right time. TSL will provide the right combination of the right products at the right time of the season to ensure your turf is growing at optimal rates for the time of year.
Diseases
Summer and winter diseases are always lurking ready to infect your lawn at the first opportunity. TSL offer a preventative and/or curative program to protect your lawn.

Insects
Insects can be difficult to detect in your lawn and the correct insecticide, applied at the right time of year is crucial to your turf's health. TSL can spray for insects before they cause damage (preventative), giving you a healthier lawn. TSL is conscious of using environmentally friendly insecticides in our maintenance programmes.
Weed Contol
Indentification of specific weeds is crucial so the correct herbicide is applied at the correct rate. This ensures the right amount of chemical is applied to kill the weeds without harming your existing turf.
This is also environmentally friendly as only the right amount of chemical is mixed and used on the property.
Spraying Programs
To ensure the optimum result all TSL staff using spray equipment are qualified applicators with Grow Safe and Approved Handler Certificates.
TSL only use the latest spray equipment with air induction nozzles for low drift and accurate application. When TSL recommend a spraying program for any of the above pest control measures you can be sure of a safe, accurate result.
Irrigation
To maintain a healthy lawn all year round irrigation is vital. TSL can give your irrigation system a spring clean so you are sure it is working properly before summer arrives.
If you don't have an irrigation system TSL can advise on the best options to suit your lawn and budget. Contact layne at layne@turfsolutions.co.nz for advise or quote on what would suit your property.
